On the occasion of the 30th anniversary from the death of the greatest dramatic tenor of the 20th century, the famous Tenor Mario Del Monaco, the world of opera decided to pay homage, with a series of concerts and events in his memory.

I also wanted to bring my part in commemorating the artistic figure of Maestro Del Monaco, so dear to me. I had a special, unique reason for that, because it was listening to his voice that I felt the call of opera and I started training as a tenor years ago.

Moreover, my favorite opera “Pagliacci” had its world premiere in 1892, 120 years ago. Mario Del Monaco is recognized as one of the best interpreters of this role. From here, the idea to realize the project “Ricordando Mario Del Monaco” was born in me.
